The collection contains "Notes on the clinical practice of Dr. Benj Rush" by Nathaniel Allen, 1811; Joseph Prentis's legal case and fee books, 1822-1825, 1838, for cases in Isle of Wight County Court; a diary of Exum White, Suffolk, on a trip to New York, New England, and Canada, 1809; Robert H. Webb's "general notebook" with list of events in the year 1838; a pocket notebook of household accounts, 1847-1861; and the garden book of Joseph Prentis, 1784-1787.
